    • 7 States draft bills to lower drinking age to 18

Seven U.S. states are considering legislation that would lower the legal drinking age from 21 to 18 either for all residents or for members of the military, UPI reported April 3.

Lawmakers in Missouri, South Dakota, Vermont and Minnesota have introduced measures to lower the drinking age for everyone, while the military-only bills have been filed in Kentucky, Wisconsin, and South Carolina...

    • Which gang should my 4-year-old join?

A couple arguing about which gang their 4-year-old toddler should join caused a public disturbance that resulted in the father's arrest.

Joseph Manzanares' girlfriend told police that they had been arguing about the upbringing of their son and which gang he should belong to.

On Saturday, Manzanares stormed into the video store where his girlfriend worked, threatened to kill her and knocked over several video displays and even a computer.

The police Seargant said, "They have different ideas on how the baby should be raised. Basically, she said they cannot agree on which gang the baby would 'claim.'"

    • Can the gents in the City live without business meetings at Strip Clubs?

The economy is in bad enough shape right now without this unnecessary attack on standard business practices.

In this article from the Independent Katherine Rake, The Fawcett Society director, said: "Within a business context, women's bodies being exposed is demeaning and degrading.

I say if a guy needs a little adult entertainment to close a deal what is the harm? It's hard enough these days as it is. Why didn't the feminist group start this campaign during better economic times?

    • Clicking woman`s legs not harassment

Seoul, Mar 24 : South Korea`s top court ruled that a man who photographed the legs of a woman wearing a miniskirt without her knowledge was not committing sexual harassment, reports have said.

The Supreme Court recently upheld a lower court`s acquittal of the man, identified as Mr Kim, who was indicted for taking the shot of the woman in her 20s while on the underground in late 2006, Yonhap news agency said.

Kim, who is in his 30s, used a camera in his mobile phone to take the picture of the woman as she sat in front of him, Yonhap said citing court records.

Police later found the photo in his handset as they questioned him over another unidentified issue and charged him with sexual harassment, it said.

“It is difficult to say that the accused took a picture of someone else`s body parts to cause sexual desire or shame,” a ruling said, according to Yonhap which gave no other details.

    • 'Coke fashionistas' are ruining Africa - UN boss

The executive director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Antonio Maria Costa has singled out Amy Winehouse for glorifying drug use, in turn fueling the devastating drugs trade.

Its an interesting point that drug users are not only damaging themselves, but are also partly responsible for the trail of misery and destruction that follows the drug traffickers from South America, through Africa en-route to Europe. Drug takers should definitely be made aware of the damage their demand does to the third world countries who supply them.

Can Costa really lay the blame for the drugs popularity at the celebrity 'Coke fashionistas' door? Surely people have enough intelligence to make up their own minds on this. Do pictures of an emaciated and clearly unwell Winehouse not make a pretty convincing argument against drug use?

Hundreds of shirts and caps, which had been manufactured in advance to celebrate the Patriots' expected victory over the New York Giants, have ended up in the hands of poor Nicaraguan children.

No word on whether or not Bill Belichick helped hand out the shirts, or just walked away from the children in disgust 45 seconds before the job was finished.

    • Sony paid Warner Bros. $400 million to go Blu-ray...allegedly...

"Howard Stringer made history in 2005 for being the first non-Japanese executive to take the helm at Sony Corp. But he may be better remembered as the one who won the high-definition war, erasing the stain on the electronics firm's image ever since it lost the videotape war two decades earlier...

...What remains a mystery is just how big a push Warner needed to pick sides. Analysts say Sony only prevailed following a heated bidding war against Toshiba, with the reward reaching as much as $400-million (U.S.). Neither side has confirmed the size of any bids or payments."

    • Top 50 bedroom pin-ups

Every adolescent boy has dreams, and those dreams are usually helped along by a poster of a fantasy woman that's perfect for hanging above the bed. There's Farrah, Pamela, Cindy, Rita, Angelina, Marilyn and more.

But which was the most unforgettable? Using trigonometry and high-level calculus, Asylum Magazine has named the 50 most memorable pin-up posters ever.

Me, personally? I had a Cindy Crawford poster hanging up in my room. It was sandwiched by a "Hare Jordan" poster and a "Ren and Stimpy" poster. I love the 90's indeed.

What did you have on your walls as a youth?

    • Recycle your sex toys!

If you're like me, you want to recycle everything, including old sex toys. Dan Savage has an excellent suggestion for those old used play things. Send them off to Kandiss Crone at WLBT 3 News in Jackson, Mississippi. She recently produced a story about an adult book store that continues to sell Dildos and other toys despite a law forbidding it. She posed as an undercover shopper, and then confronted the owner with cameras and all. The police were less interested in the "crime." Her greatest achievement was filling Jackson, Mississippi residents who use toys with shame and guilt. Great job Kandiss!

So if you have old sex toys, and I know you do, send them here:

    • How did the Virgin Mary get in my bag of pretzels?

At the time I bet you all he wanted was a snack but ended up a whole lot more; maybe a sign from the big guy (or gal) in the sky!? A DJ for Eugene rock station KFLY is thinking people will actually cough up money for anything with a Virgin Mary image. He might be right. After all, a grilled cheese sandwich Virgin Mary went for $28,000 on eBay in 2004.

A Virgin Mary pretzel he put on eBay yesterday was already fetching $4,500 by 9:15 this morning, with 44 bidders. The bidding closes March 1. Shipping is free.

DJ Tanner Haney could not be reached for comment. He told KVAL TV in Eugene "we're kind of capitalizing on the stupidity of eBay and that people will buy anything." He hosts the Donkey Show from 2 to 6 p.m.

Anyone think it's a sign? A sign of what I'm not sure but open to anyones thoughts!

    • Japanese Mudslinging Festival Brings Good Luck

In February, half-naked men in loinclothes and headbands gather in the cold water of a sacred pond to wrestle and sling mud at a shrine on the outskirts of Tokyo. The Dairokuten-no-Hadaka Matsuri is just one of many "naked" festivals in Japan. Hadaka means naked but in actuality the partipants wear a loincloth called a fundoshi. The mudslinging is to ensure good harvest for the year. In February, half-naked men in loinclothes and headbands gather in the cold water of a sacred pond to wrestle and sling mud at a shrin... more

Typically smoked or chewed, Salvia Divinorum has become increasingly known on the Internet the past few years through sales on eBay and through YouTube videos of users tripping with it.

The drug is produced from a Mexican plant used by Mazatec Indians for healing and ritual prophecy. Users in the United States have reported effects ranging from relaxation and sensual pleasure to out-of-body experiences and frightening hallucinations.

People are even saying that while on the drug, their burritos have grown teeth and tried to eat them.
