Pwn the vote
Meet 1ickTh3P0l3. He can vote. But why tell him that? When Rock the Vote comes to Xbox Live on Monday (the start of the Democratic National Convention), it won't find the disempowered young citizens eager to be mobilized it's expecting. In fact, the Xbox Live community is a conglomerate of well-organized sub-divisions - or "clans" - which communicate through a modified, verbalization of "133t speak" with a large admixture of derisive language; including racial, ethnic, gender, sex, and religious slurs. These nihilistic hatemongers shoot first, typically with rocket launchers, and top it off with a teabag over your dead body. Oh wait, these are just the Xbox Live users under 18. Imagine how the ones of legal voting age spend their nights and weekends ... And you want them rocking what now? Meet 1ickTh3P0l3. He can vote. But why tell him that? McCain rides the swiftboat express
John McCain is clearly in bed with the swiftboat group Vets For Freedom.
I would love to see how the right would react to Obama laying down with the moveon.org people.
McCain seems to get a pass on this and many other blunders from the so called "Liberal" media that dominates MSM.
Thanks to Jed Lewison from the jedreport.com for the article John McCain is clearly in bed with the swiftboat group Vets For Freedom. ... more -
Christina Aguilera & Baby Max For Rock the Vote!
Christina Aguilera is kicking off the new campaign for the group, but the one wearing the flag is her infant son, Max Liron Bratman.
In the new broadcast ad, set to debut later this summer, Aguilera sings a lullaby of “America the Beautiful” to her son, who was born in January. The Grammy winner said she didn’t think twice about putting her son in the spot because it’s “inevitable that he will be subjected to some amount of press,” so it might as well be channeled into a good cause.............. Thinking about voting for Giuliani? Think again.
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani believes that the United States needs a president who is a "proven leader and a problem solver." How does Giuliani hold up to his own standards? Let's take a look.
Giuliani's failures as a leader date back to the original attack on the World Trade Center on Feb. 26, 2003, when FDNY firefighters inside the WTC discovered that their radios were defective. Giuliani's administration replaced the defective radios with more defective radios on a NO BID contract. These new radios were proven to be ineffective but were never replaced. On 9/11 an evacuation order was given over the radio to firefighters and police, but none of the firefighters in the buildings got the call, resulting in completely unnecessary loss of life. All NYPD officers in the building had working radios. They all got the call and they all escaped alive.
In addition to providing firefighters with faulty radios after the first attack in '93, Giuliani decided to place the emergency communications command center, where else, but at the World Trade Center. Placing the emergency response center at that location left it completely useless on 9/11 - it had to be evacuated before the building collapsed on itself. Police detectives were seen yelling in the streets, saying, "We told him not to put it here!"
After the attack in 2001, Giuliani wandered the streets talking to reporters. rather than isolating himself in a secure location with fire and police officials to orchestrate the rescue and recovery operation. Uniformed officials were left to deal with the chaos themselves.
Giuliani even called off the search for human remains within hours of recovering all of the gold belonging to the Bank of Nova Scotia that had been stored at the WTC. Rudy Giuliani claimed that the firefighters needed to stop for their own safety, leaving hundreds of human remains unaccounted for (these people's remains ended up in the Staten Island dump, instead of being turned over to their families). When firefighters protested Giuliani's decision, he had them ARRESTED. The search for remains continued, but only after Giuliani received bad press about the injustice.

Citizen Cope to tour West coast
His real name is Clarence Greenwood, but he goes by Citizen Cope. He writes all of his own music and plays all of the instruments on his albums. I guess you could call it a fusion of rock, blues, and hip-hop genres in a unique combination that you won't hear anywhere else - but his live performances are really where it's at.
There are many reasons why I respect this man musically, but he also does his part to make the world a better place by spreading publicity for humanitarian campaigns like one.org, Rock the Vote, and Safe Darfur.
