Sam Taylor-Wood: A Portrayal of Moments with Crying Men
Sam Taylor-Wood is an English experimental photographer and filmmaker. "Crying Men" is her treatise about sadness. It has very recently been "discovered" in the United States and is attracting considerable attention.
Her series of photographs in "Crying Men" attempts to capture an unusual liminal space, the moment between the real and the unreal, the imitation and the authentic. By her deliberate use of celebrity actors as models, the viewer is led to wonder whether and to what degree their tears of sadness (and therefore their emotions) are genuine.
This article presents great photographs, a photo-gallery of all the "Crying Men" portraits and three videos. The videos include a video-slideshow of the "Crying Men" photographs and Taylor-Wood's short avant-garde film, "Pieta", which stars Robert Downey, Jr. Sam Taylor-Wood is an English experimental photographer and filmmaker. ANIMorphATION
This is a movie made by me, Lucas James Xavier Kolasa.
I made 21 ink drawings, 13 oil paintings, and 15 environmentally correct sculptures.
THen I wrote and created a musical score that I syncronized to the video. I also made the video including all the special effects.
It was a one person project.
Me being that person.
If I only count working hours.. I would say it was easily 1500 hours of work.
However, the first sculpture was made 2 years ago,, and the final work was done just a couple weeks ago.
I hope you have the time to click on and view it.., and share with your friends.
and please add me as a friend.

Time Machine: 1860 French song unearthed, first human recording
They say that her voice still sounds sweet and smoky after 147 years, the song floating in the air as if the young lady's walking out of a fog to serenade her audience. "Au Clair de la Lune," in 10 seconds, 11 notes. They've found the first human voice recording ever made, nearly 20 years before Thomas Edison invented the phonograph. But maybe the young lady's warbling doesn't really sound as "sweet and smoky" as they say it does. Take a listen for yourself and you decide!!
Photographs and the short (somewhat painful) music audio are included. They say that her voice still sounds sweet and smoky after 147 years, the song floating in the air as if the young lady's walking out ... more -

MEGA-MORPH ... new age entertainment
I made many environmentally correct sculptures.. then I wrote music and made it, attatched it to this video I made all of the sculptures.. morphing into one another.
-- I actually recycled a lot of the material from the trash with my own hands.
-- things like cardboard, paint, etc.
Unfortunately, I do not own money.. -- So you can see .. it says the name ABROSOFT on the screen.. becaue they let me borrow their program. It still took me many hours to figure it all out etc.
Then entire project is over 1000 hours of pure work all jammed into less than 4 minutes. From recycling materials.. to making the sculptures.. this is a collection of work that was started 2 years ago. -- Then after that was complete,, I started making the music.. and then working with the technology programs to link it all together.-- So.. each sculpture takes so long to make.. and all..-- it is esaily over 1000 hours of work. *~*It is kewl though.. i don't mind. The new ones won't take as long to do,, now that I have done it once... but still.. there is no way to make the sculptures faster than I already do.- In the begining,, it was like 100 hours plus.. but now.. I am really much faster at it.-- so.. experience is the key.
So thanks to the companies that let me borrow some technology.
-- See when you don't have money.. you have to borrow things..
*~*
sucks.. sometimes.
--
but let's not focus on that.
World Peace.. that is the goal.

Way to Blue
"Way to Blue" is sung by Nick Drake (1948-1974), an English singer who failed to find a wide audience during his lifetime. However, interest in Drake's work has grown steadily, to the extent that he now ranks among the most influential English singers of the last 50 years.
Heath Ledger (1979-208) was preoccupied with Drake's life and music. Shortly before his death in January, Ledger made a video to accompany Drake's song "Black Eyed Dog", in which Ledger was pictured drowning in his own bathtub.
Poignant, tender photographs, music videos and a moving photo-gallery express the emotional essence of both Drake and Ledger. "Way to Blue" is sung by Nick Drake (1948-1974), an English singer who failed to find a wide audience during his lifetime. However, i... more -
