Media Matters - O'Reilly and a lynching party against Michelle Obama
How many gaffs will O'Reilly get away with before they fire his bigoted, sexually preoccupied hind end?
Kelly Tilghman with the Golf Channel made a crack about the rest of the PGA Tour lynching Tiger Woods and she and Tiger are friends and yet she took a voluntary two week suspension for the insensitive comment. She did that after Tiger had already said he liked Kelly, that she was a friend and that it was "no big deal at all."
Now here comes O'Reilly (after Imus loses his radio show) and he makes about his 20th absolutely moronic comment in a year and the FAUX "News" Channel does what?
Nothing so far.
Let's don't let this one die down so quickly. He was chasing a quote taken out of context by the right wing media that had Michelle Obama erroneously saying something that was part of a longer statement.
What she said was this. "Hope is making a comeback and, let me tell you, for the first time in my adult life I am really proud of my country, not just because Barack is doing well, but I think people are hungry for change."
Now, when you listen to the Radio Righties, the quote has suddenly been woefully shortened to become "for the first time in my adult life I am really proud of my country.", That is plain old B.S.
Of course, they are playing this to the hilt - listen to what O'Reilly said about checking up on what she stood for.
Don't let these slingers of mud get away without getting a generous helping of mud thrown back at them. At FAUX, the Swiftboating had already begun however, this particular shortened quote needs to blow up in their face.
And O'Reilly needs a "Time-Out"! Let's suggest he gets a long one.

The FAUX "News" Channel and Bill O'Loofah are at it again!
Just as they had rather report on the trials and tribulations of troubled entertainer, Brittany Spears, instead of reporting anything bad that happens in Washington or Iraq, FAUX "News" Channel's inimitable Bill O'Reilly was recently caught in another of his oral blunders. (He is so often skewered by his inflated ego and his penchant for lying about not spinning things that Keith Olbermann's nickname for him is Bill Orally.)
Watch here as Andrea Mackris' one time wannabe shower-mate again gets himself in trouble by spinning out of control in a zone he has untruthfully-named the "No Spin Zone".
I laugh every time I see FAUX "News" use their ill-gotten slogan of "Fair and Balanced". Then, when they add, "We report. You decide." It makes me mumble, "We Report Rubbish. You Decide If You Want to Take the Bait", under my breath.
I guess there are enough people who have never bothered to check on his objectivity or read about the Andrea Mackris lawsuit that apparently lists, word for word, his recorded sexual suggestions to her over the phone. One such particularly graphic page in the lawsuit she filed is here: http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/1013043mackris14.h...
Without further ado, I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions about whether you'd want your children to read his latest book targeting young readers. ("The O'Reilly Factor for Kids: A Survival Guide for America's Families") I wonder how a girl young enough to be his daughter, Andrea Mackris, would have been counseled in the book.
This piece exposes another in his long line of completely moronic O'Reilly Factor statements.
At least Michael Savage's sponsors are leaving him in droves after actually having their attention called to the hate and venom spewed by Savage a.k.a. Weiner on his program "The Savage Nation." I just wish Orally's sponsors would place spots on the "Factor" based on its truthfulness rather than its popularity with the Kool-Aid drinkers who actually believe what they see on the FAUX "News" Channel. Just as they had rather report on the trials and tribulations of troubled entertainer, Brittany Spears, instead of reporting anything... more
