Female teacher pleads no contest to sex crimes
Donita Brady, 50, a 7th grade physical education and language arts teacher at Breckenridge Middle School and Breckenridge High School, was charged in April with seven counts of criminal sexual conduct with a 15-year-old female student - five counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct involving digital penetration or oral sex and two counts of second degree criminal sexual conduct involving sexual contact.
Because Brady teaches in the same district as the alleged victim, the five first-degree charges were upgraded from less serious third-degree counts and what would have been fourth-degree charges were upgraded to second-degree. Army wife has sex with 14yo while husband is in South Korea
Ashley Moore, 29, wife of a U.S. Army soldier was too horny to wait for her husband and now this naughty neigbour faces criminal charges for allegedly engaging in sex with a 14-year-old boy. The husband, PFC Tucker Moore, was stationed in South Korea when Ashley sent him emails admitting that she had engaged in sex with the boy.
Moore contacted police in Grove City, about 50 miles north of Pittsburgh, in May. He forwarded two e-mails from his wife which "basically state" she was sorry for sleeping with a 14-year-old, according to a police affidavit.

Female Teacher Accused Of Repeatedly Performing Oral Sex On Male Student
Maggie Laughlin, 23, former math teacher at Shore Junior High School in Mentor, Ohio
pleaded guilty on August 13 to having illegal sexual conduct with a 15-year-old male student earlier this year.
"I became involved with a student and the relationship became sexual in nature and I performed oral sex on him," Laughlin said to Lake County Common Pleas Court Judge Paul Mitrovich. The sex acts took place in May and June, she said. It is alleged that during the last two weeks of the school term that a sexual relationship developed between Laughlin and the boy. The incidents are alleged to have occurred in Laughlin’s classroom at the school before the start of the school day and consisted of Laughlin performing oral sex on the boy. Tory councillor charged with having gay sex in a public toilet
A Conservative councillor in Harrow has appeared in court charged with engaging in sexual activity in a public lavatory.
Robert Benson did not enter a plea at Harrow Magistrates' Court last week. He has been suspended from the party but remains a councillor. Council leader David Ashton told the Harrow Observer:
"Firstly, this is a matter for the courts. Secondly, as Conservative group leader, I have suspended Councillor Benson from the group.
"If somebody is charged with a criminal offence, they are suspended as part of our standard procedure."
Mr Benson, 41, is accused of giving oral sex to another man in a public toilet in south Harrow on June 25th. He was arrested and bailed until July 8th, when he was charged. A 56-year-old from Essex man was issued with a caution. Mr Benson's case will be heard on 30th July at Wimbledon Magistrates Court.

Woman sentenced for teen sex
Cora G. Putney from Hammond, NY, was sentenced this week for engaging in sexual activity with three boys, ages 11, under-13 and 15.
Putney gets 60 days in the St. Lawrence County Jail plus registration as a sex offender. She also must serve 10 years of probation.
Putney had pleaded guilty in May to two counts of second-degree criminal sexual act and one count of sexual misconduct. Putney was accused of having oral sex with an 11-year-old boy last June, along with having oral sex with a boy under age 13 and a 15-year-old boy last July. Cora G. 9 British women facing prostitution charges after Greek sex competition
Nine British women were facing prostitution charges after being arrested at the weekend for taking part in an oral sex competition in the Greek holiday island of Zakynthos, police said on Monday.
Six British and six Greek men, including two bar owners, were also charged in the incident, which took place at Laganas beach in the south of the Ionian island, which lies off the west coast of mainland Greece, police said.
The women, who came to the popular resort on holiday, had been paid to take part in the competition, which was video recorded and was to be posted on the Internet, police said.
The men were charged with encouraging obscene behaviour.
In recent years, Laganas has established itself as one of Greece's most popular destinations for twenty-something holidaymakers and is known for its wild party scene.
Around 15 million people -- a fifth of them British -- visit the eastern Mediterranean country each year, drawn by its soaring summer temperatures, azure waters and sandy beaches.

Ex-church youth program leader gets probation for having sex with teen
A former church youth program director received five years of probation on Tuesday for having a sexual relationship with a teenager in the program. Angela Hurt of Rogers, Ark., pleaded guilty in May for second-degree statutory rape and second-degree statutory sodomy.
The victim's mother was clearly disappointed that Hurt received no jail.
The mother told the judge that, before the crime took place, her son was involved in football, and played guitar in the church youth group. She says, after it happened, the teen stopped being involved altogether.
Hurt was ordered to stay away from the boy as part of her probation.
Regarding the $10 million civil suit, the parties reached an out-of-court settlement and the lawsuit was dismissed. All signed a confidentiality agreement so details of the settlement are secret.
Prosecutors charged her in November 2006 with having sex with a 15-year-old boy in early 2005. Investigators think the relationship between Hurt and the boy lasted two years and included multiple sexual encounters. Oral sex blamed for throat cancer rise
With 6,000 cases per year and an annual increase of up to 10 per cent in men younger than 60, some researchers say the HPV-linked throat cancers could overtake cervical cancer in the next decade.
"It's almost a new disease, in a sense," said Dr Ezra Cohen, an oncologist at the University of Chicago Medical Centre. "It's now becoming a dominant sub-type of the disease that we see in our clinic."
The HPV infections likely took root decades ago as the Baby Boomers were reaching adulthood, and only now are spurring a rise in throat cancer cases, mostly among men and women in their 50s.
No one understands the precise reason for the increase, though experts suspect it's linked to changes in sexual practices that emerged in the 1960s and '70s. For example, oral sex is a known risk factor for HPV-related throat cancers, and studies have shown that people who have come of age since the 1950s are more likely to have engaged in oral sex than those who were born earlier.
"Those people were in their teens during the sexual revolution, so they may be leading the wave," said Dr Maura Gillison, a professor of oncology and epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Centre who has published numerous studies indicating that HPV-related throat cancer is a distinct type of disease.
The virus targets a specific portion of the upper throat called the oropharynx, which includes the tonsils and base of the tongue. Just a decade ago, doctors believed nearly all such cancers were linked with smoking or extremely heavy drinking.
Last year, however, Gillison's team published a major study that found stark differences between the risky behaviours of throat cancer patients with HPV and those without. The HPV-positive cancer patients tended to have had higher numbers of sex partners than the others and were far more likely to have had multiple oral-sex partners.
The virus-linked cancer appears somewhat less deadly than throat cancers that arise from smoking or drinking. A paper published this year found that 96 per cent of HPV-positive patients survived at least two years after diagnosis, compared with 62 per cent survival for HPV-negative cancers.
"They have a better prognosis, but these are still very aggressive cancers," said Dr Marshall Posner, medical director of head and neck oncology at the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Centre in Boston.
While doctors had hoped for an overall drop in throat cancer as the percentage of Americans who smoke declined, the rise of HPV-related throat cancers seems to be offsetting any such benefit.
