New York Bucket Drummer Rules The World
(edited March 17th)
Famous New York City street drummer, Larry Wright, can jam on them buckets like you won't believe! I caught him at Times Square once and peed my pants, he was so sick! But don't dismiss him as just another street performer. This guy is worth millions! Let him rip, I swear, and you'll fly in the air like a bomb blowing you away!
A documentary has already been made about him appropriately titled, LARRY WRIGHT.

The Act:
Drums on buckets as his three daughters aged seven, six, and four dance. His wife Sonia is always on hand. Wright has been performing on the streets since he was five years old.
From: The Bronx.
Favorite Spots:
Times Square and 34th Street subway stations; in front of the Marriott Marquis, 1535 Broadway, between 45th and 46th Streets.
Claims to Fame:
Wright has appeared in commercials (Levis), videos (Mariah Carey's "Some Day"), and films (Green Card, Sliver, etc.).
Typical Day's Take:
$300. Wright performs nearly every day for two to three hours or until the cops shut him down—whichever comes first.
On Busking:
"Sometimes old people come past and cover up their ears because it's pretty loud. But except for that, all the shows are good, all the crowds are good. For me, it's relaxing. It lets me do what I love to do. Keeps me out of trouble." (edited March 17th) ... more -
