It won't be long till we line up like cattle for slaughter
It's no wonder that our President is so intent upon making torture part of the "American Way."
For the past 50 years we have devoted ourselves to making the rich richer.
Fast food is an example. We have eliminated the small farm and brought in factory farms so that we can make Americans fat and rich Americans richer.We force the rest of the world to eat our fast food as well--
Fast food has bred more than obesity. It has bred inhumane treatment of animals. We treat animals--cows (they are gentle and kind animals) Pigs (smart and good pets) and chickens
as though they are vegetables. We deny them painkillers as we cut off their privates and their horns(like pulling teeth out) and we line them up and hang them up---millions.
They are so sick and stressed that we feed them antibiotics. Most live lives of sheer hell and cry as they are electric prodded to their deaths. Some are skinned alive.
We try not to think about it---and what it is doing to us and to our humanity.
It is all part of what has happened to our country in the last 50 years---out of greed and corporate desperation.
There is another way and there are good people but it is so hard to be 19 years old and to feel so helpless. The internet helps--and we need to comfort each other and give each other support.
