      Live From Main Street and GRITtv on technology, voting machines, and the future of democracy. In November, one quarter of the country will be voting on paperless electronic voting machines. Yet, questions have emerged about partisan contractors programming the machines that will count the vote. And come election day, it may not be possible to conduct a recount in a number of swing states if the vote is close. Why? There will be no paper ballets to verify the vote.
