Photos of Martin Luther King III on his Realizing the Dream Listening and Learning Tour in June 2007 to three New Mexico Pueblo communities.
New Mexico Realizing the Dream Coordinators Pearl Means, Charleen Touchette and Liesette Paisner arranged the visit for Mr. King and American Life Television to hear from the leaders and people in communities working to end poverty to reignite the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King III and Martin's mother Coretta Scott King.
Mr. King and the communities he visited were filmed for a video on Poverty in America that premiered in Washington, D.C. on October 25, 2007 and is aired on the American Life Television Network. Martin Luther King III Feasted by Picuris Pueblo
Governor Craig Quanchello and the Picuris Pueblo people hosted Martin Luther King III during his Realizing the Dream Poverty Initiative in America Tour of Northern New Mexico.
Native Radio Host Albert Cata showed Martin Luther King III his mother's home at Ohkay Owinghe Pueblo. Realizing the Dream's NM Coordinator Charleen Touchette with Albert Cata. At Santa Clara Pueblo, Marian Naranjo and her family hosted Martin Luther King III and he met a newlywed couple at the Tribal Offices. Marian Naranjo shows Pearl Means and Charleen Touchette the horno at-risk youth built through H.O.P.E. - Honor Our Pueblo Existence.
