Which religion has the best phone?
The Buddhist phone tops all the other religious phones according to Mike Elgan, with its distinct feautures of sheer beauty and customisation (its reportedly gold-plated) and has features such as the Buddhist ring tones, software and other trappings.
The phone contains a piece of jade called the "Buddha video button." when pressed you can watch a Buddhist video. The back has an embossed image of the Buddha. It plays classic Buddhist music and 12 sutras. The battery, stylus -- even the little door that provides access to the removable media card -- are all adorned in Chinese Buddhist style.
In second place came the Muslim phone with features such as the call to prayer and also comes with the full text of the Quran in both Arabic and English, and tells you the direction of Mecca.
The Jewish or the "Kosher phone" as it is known came in third place, has less functions rather than more as it only makes and recieves calls. Theres no SMS function, or camera function and over 10,000 phone numbers for dating services and sex hotlines have been blocked.
Here's the best part of the Kosher phone...
The phone offers steeply discounted per-minute charges when calling other kosher phones. However its costs you a massive $2.44 a minute for calls placed on the Sabbath (to stop deviation from one of the 10 commandments). How innovative is that?!
