50 Cent Tops Forbes' Hip-Hop Cash Kings 2008 List
After last year's crown went to Jay-Z, resulting in the 50 Cent "I Get Money" (1-2-3 Remix) with Diddy on board, 50 Cent can claim himself this year as Forbes' estimated top earner in Hip Hop.
The leading financial institution estimated that 50 made $150 million over the last year, topped by his Vitamin Water deal with Coca Cola. Jay-Z fell $18 million behind Fif at $82 million, including his blockbuster Live Nation deal. Diddy rounded out the last at Number Three, coming in at $35 million, a departure from the close running of the three New York rap moguls the last two years.

50 Cent's son kidnapped?
50 Cent claims his ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, has kidnapped his son, Marquise.
Reports say that 50 made his claim in a recent interview with Sister 2 Sister Magazine, where he discussed the source of his feud with Tompkins. Allegedly, the feud began with 50 insisting that his son have a better home and education.
"It wasn't important before the beginning of last year because he (Marquise) was being home schooled... I was paying a teacher $60,000 just to teach him by himself," says 50 in the interview. "He was learning slower because it was just him and the teacher. So he needed to go to where he had the best possible schooling district and I found a house in the area that was, like, $1.5 million."

More DX Dirt: Young Buck Attempted Suicide?
A rumor has surfaced that David Darnell Brown - also known as Young Buck – overdosed on prescription pain pills in what has been called a suicide attempt. HipHopDX.com caught wind of the rumor through several sources, however, none of this has been confirmed as of yet. According to the sources, Buck was depressed and told cops that he was trying to harm himself. Lizzie Grubman (Buck’s publicist) was allegedly with Buck and stated to police that the former G-Unit member received 40 pain pills and made an attempt to overdose by taking up to five. One source stated that he was treated at Metro Nashville General Hospital for a drug overdose last night and was admitted to an emergency room this morning after suffering an adverse reaction to the painkillers.
Below is the police report that came with one of the emails. In the report, there is no mention of David Darnell Brown or Lizzie Grubman.

Whats The Worst Song Of All Time??
I know its been a minute since the last post but I been doing recording alot of new music lately so I havent had the time BUT I got a lil time and there is something I HAD to share with yall. Even though I hate wack shit, I think one of my hobbies is listening to extremely bad shit or just plain infamous ass shit. Shit like Shawty Lo's line 'How you laughing? like HA HA HA' or anything off the hilariously classic and quotable 'Controversy' album by the legend Willie D (Bald Head Hoes is beyond a classic). But the song I found isnt by any of the usual suspects or anyone you know and if you do know these dudes you should of stopped them a LONG time ago. They are called Young Spuset and these niggas are the Bentley's in wack music. Off beat rhymes, terrible harmonies and bad execution. Everything that could of went wrong, did go wrong.
Now I love how music can make you want to make music but sometimes music aint for all of us. Then again if you stay at it you can get better, cause I would have never guess Wayne would be where he was if you asked me back when the Block is Hot came out. So here is the WACKEST MOST FUCKED UP SONG ADD-2 HAS HEARD PERIOD.... Young Spuset's 'Lets Stay Together'. If you can make it thru the whole song I tips my hat to you...
Do you have an opinion on who has the worst song of all time....Click here....

Mama Said Knock You Out: A Look Back At 50 Cent Beef
For some, the gloves worn by Curtis Jackson as he pummels artist after actress after rapper with his lyrical attacks may read marketing and promotion. Flanked in his corner by the most dynamic training duo in history (Dr. Dre and Eminem) 50 Cent has ensured his constant presence on the gossip sites and Hip Hop webzines with his verbal attacks on the innocent, the not-so-innocent and those looking for a free PR campaign.
Right or wrong, 50 Cent has encouraged some of the most talked about tirades in the last five years, giving former label mates a harsh dose of reality, (Young Buck) and the fuel to rage their own campaign against the notorious one (The Game), but as we all know, all is not fair in love and war and there have been casualties that have never really gotten over the knocks they have taken and some, even though they tug at the ropes, probably never will.
This piece is here to break it down - the tried, the tested, the totally annihilated and the ones who failed to drop to the floor when the Queens fighter came into the ring.

The Game: Man Vs. Machine
The game don't wait, at least that's what Warren G once said. However, The Game says that Hip Hop may have to wait on him to hear more after three largely-publicized, arguably classic albums. The third in the trilogy, L.A.X., is the topic at an early afternoon conversation in a Geffen Records corner office in New York City.
Surrounded by his homeboys from Compton and industry mastermind Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond, The Game discusses Hip Hop in its purest form. Spouting off artists of yesteryear, recounting famous battles and quoting lyrics, The Game might seem like an unlikely lecturer for the university circuit. However, The Game is both a diligent student of Hip Hop and one of its biggest headline drivers. The 27 year-old needs no inquisition to speak about separation from Dr. Dre, a self-proclaimed victory over G-Unit and a sleeping giant perspective on Jay-Z.
Although it seems it's impossible to get The Game to not be controversial, the first Compton rapper since his mentor to further the city's legacy seems to be about bigger issues than feuds, bravado and half-stepping rumors of retirement. Whether his promises are to be believed or not, the rapper who has been one of the few platinum superstars to still serve time, demonstrates his love of Hip Hop history, and use his underdog status to do what EPMD, Too Short, Master P and Jay-Z did before him - threaten to hang it up if we don't wake up. HipHopDX shows you an artist, a dreamer and a victim of circumstance - Game, the man, versus the machine.

50 Cent and G-Unit: Heroes and Villains
I accepted more from Buck than I’ve accepted from Game. I didn’t have a relationship with Game. With him, after he said what he said, it was, “Okay, get him the fuck out of here.” That’s just that. I only worked with Game for six days.
I worked on Game a lot longer than I worked with Game. Because I made the records that he actually sold five million albums off of before he came anywhere near it. He didn’t know what the fuck his first singles were or what was gonna be his presentation to the public. [Dr.] Dre was getting ready to drop him. That’s why they provided the opportunity for me to share on the profits.
[They said,] “If 50 can fix it, let’s let him do it. [The Game] has been in the studio for a year. He’s a good rapper, just not a great songwriter. He isn’t coming with the type of shit that’s making Dre feel like hands-down, this is it.”
