Tony Yayo Disses Young Buck, Game & Fat Joe
Tony Yayo has never been the one to keep quiet on his discontent for other rappers. Calling into Jenny Boom Boom’s show on Hot 93.7 in Connecticut, Yayo released a kamikaze of insults toward G-Unit’s three biggest current foes; The Game, Young Buck and Fat Joe.
Stating that The Game was a “television blood,” Yayo mentioned their first encounter in which he saw Game wearing a different color. “When I met Game, he had on a brown flag. He wasn’t even blood, get out of here man.”

More DX Dirt: Young Buck Attempted Suicide?
A rumor has surfaced that David Darnell Brown - also known as Young Buck – overdosed on prescription pain pills in what has been called a suicide attempt. HipHopDX.com caught wind of the rumor through several sources, however, none of this has been confirmed as of yet. According to the sources, Buck was depressed and told cops that he was trying to harm himself. Lizzie Grubman (Buck’s publicist) was allegedly with Buck and stated to police that the former G-Unit member received 40 pain pills and made an attempt to overdose by taking up to five. One source stated that he was treated at Metro Nashville General Hospital for a drug overdose last night and was admitted to an emergency room this morning after suffering an adverse reaction to the painkillers.
Below is the police report that came with one of the emails. In the report, there is no mention of David Darnell Brown or Lizzie Grubman.

Young Buck Responds To 50 Cent
Nobody can accuse Young Buck of running. When Dr. Dre was attacked at the VIBE Awards several years ago, Buck was there.
And now, with damaging allegations of Buck being a drug addict aimed at him by G-Unit man-in-charge 50 Cent, he’s still not running.

50 Cent and G-Unit: Heroes and Villains
I accepted more from Buck than I’ve accepted from Game. I didn’t have a relationship with Game. With him, after he said what he said, it was, “Okay, get him the fuck out of here.” That’s just that. I only worked with Game for six days.
I worked on Game a lot longer than I worked with Game. Because I made the records that he actually sold five million albums off of before he came anywhere near it. He didn’t know what the fuck his first singles were or what was gonna be his presentation to the public. [Dr.] Dre was getting ready to drop him. That’s why they provided the opportunity for me to share on the profits.
[They said,] “If 50 can fix it, let’s let him do it. [The Game] has been in the studio for a year. He’s a good rapper, just not a great songwriter. He isn’t coming with the type of shit that’s making Dre feel like hands-down, this is it.”

Mixtape Wrapup (March)
Young Buck - Rumors (The Empire and The Cartel) [click here to listen...]
Nashville’s primary rap representative seems to be going through a transitional period in his career right now. His sophomore disc Buck The World was criminally slept on, his G-Unit allegiance seems to be on egg shells, and he’s starting his own label with signees like The Outlawz. All things considered, it’s good to see that Buck’s [click here to read recent feature...] still making the great street music that’s gotten him where he is. A pair of 50 Cent cameos are placed to reassure that big homey’s still backing him, but a listen to the rest of Rumors shows that wouldn’t have much trouble holding his own anyway. Continuing to spit his trademark hardnosed bars while adding the occasional change-up, with Buck, what you see is what you get—and that’s a good thing.
Mick Boogie & Talib Kweli - The MCEO [click here to listen...]
Rappers with their own labels has been the norm for seemingly forever now, it’s taken a while for Talib Kweli [click here to read recent feature...] to get involved in the mix. But the BK emcee has finally made the jump with his Warner Bros.-backed Blacksmith Music, and he’s teamed with Mick Boogie to showcase his roster on The MCEO mixtape. Thankfully, Talib is still an emcee first, and he drops plenty of gems here, from the “Independent” tribute to labels he respects to “D’Evils 2008,” which features an updated version of the beat to the Jay-Z classic by up-and-coming producer 6th Sense.
