    • Disturbing... read it and see what you think

Opening statements on the website read:

"This is no opinion piece. Rather it is a collection of buried, but undeniable facts, events, and quotes which, when assembled in one place, will state their own conclusions. In putting together this research in a logical and sequential format, great care was taken to confirm and double confirm every piece of information. Any and all questionable data which could not be independently verified to this author's satisfaction was discarded. Taken individually, each story, quote and event may not amount to a full case. But when taken collectively, this mountain of facts should hammer home the truth to even the most skeptical reader. There are of course those who have fallen under the hypnotic spell of the TV talking-heads and "experts" whom they worship as authority figures. Unaccustomed to thinking for themselves, no amount of truth can sway them from their preconceived prejudices. They will even deny that which they see with their own eyes."

I am not against Jews or the state of Israel. Extremism from any source is a threat to us all. Tell me what you think about all this.

War, death and destruction GOOD; the human body BAD!

Indiana has passed new legislation declaring art work portraying the human body unsuitable for humans. Great artist once considered by the vast majority of humanity throughout the ages to posses a "divine gift" such as Michelangelo are now determined to be "PORNOGRAPHERS" in the eyes of the enlightened Indiana legislature. Never mind the work of the "Divine himself".

Next up on the "enlightened'" Indiana State legislature's agenda; a bill to ban all mirrors and "reflective surfaces" for fear "horny" sexual deviates might view themselves; become uncontrollably aroused; and violate themselves - oh, and children of course.

"Even seemingly innocent reflective surfaces can be turned into "PORNOGRAPHIC" paraphernalia such as car side and rear view mirrors, shiny cook wear, CD jewel cases and even patent leather shoes" excitedly exclaimed one erect 'member' of the Indianan legislature.

Also, credit to Tori of 'Current' fame for deleting my first couple of (graphic, sexually explicit pornographic - involving animals and miscellaneous farm equipment) pictures and finding this one. Thanks Tori!

Oh, and Vote for Obama and let's put an end to this sort of thing!

    • Florida: Legislature of the Absurd

Diane Roberts wrote a piece the other day criticizing the Florida State Legislative body for it's priorities (and the lack there of) during it's current session. The follwoign is just an excerpt listing some fo the antics of the Legislature's 2008 regular session:

"Look at the legislature's priorities: pushing "I Believe" license plates sporting a cross and a stained glass window. Voting to sneak the teaching of "intelligent design" into high school science classes. Forcing pregnant women who want or need an abortion to undergo an ultrasound — and making them pay for it, too. Filing bills against the scourge of boys in baggy britches. Making sure you can you can tote your Smith and Wesson to the day care center, the mall, or that downsizing construction company — the one you're kind of mad at. And debating whether the faux bovine cojones known as "Truck Nutz" should be banned from the backsides of Florida vehicles."

There's more discussed by the author but the failure fo the Florida Legislature is that it doesn't seem to have any idea what the citizens need any more... Though they do know how to address wedge issues and the mundane in order to distract the citizenry from the real problems facing the state.

This is what a failure of government looks like.
