Tijuana cartel connection uncovered in SDSU drug bust
There appears to be a possible connection between the the big San Diego State drug bust on that happened on Tuesday, and the Tijuana Cartel through one of the students arrested, Omar Castaneda is a pre-health science student at San Diego State and also a member of the South Side Pomona gang.
Officers say that Castaneda, who has a prior for the sale of narcotics, received his supply of drugs from Mexico and members of the cartel.
This is so like "The Wire." Always a bigger fish to catch.

Nearly 100 students at San Diego State arrested in drug bust
Drugs, cash, guns were seized from buyers and sellers in a bust following a 5 month undercover operation.
96 of the arrest include fraternity members. The article does not say which fraternity.
