We follow a young fisherman on his final voyage to sea. For 26 year old Kes Moate, fishing is in his blood. His father was a fisherman and his father before him. Whilst on this emotional journey, Kes explains why it is so difficult to glean a living from the sea. Dwindling fish stocks, quotas, fishing bans and increasing competition from overseas have all pushed the small fisherman to the brink of extinction.

As a Freelance Severe Weather Journalist, Doug has chased ice storms, blizzards, thunderstorms and tornadoes. In August 2005, his job brought him to New Orleans, Louisiana to cover Hurricane Katrina.
