Atlanta's MARTA Buses Idle All Night Wasting Fuel, Polluting the Air and Dist...
MARTA has adopted a new written policy for idling buses and some rail-yard neighbors say it has made all the difference in the world.
The policy follows an I-team investigation that found MARTA was idling buses all night long at one rail-yard.

I saw this story last night and could not believe it! MARTA has let their buses sit idle for HOURS for the last 5 YEARS at a bus yard next to a neighborhood. This is wasting fuel, causing a lot of pollution and disturbing a neighborhood with a lot of noise. Please watch the video. They went to the bus yard and filmed it on 2 nights after the head of Marta said they did not do this, Finally when they did something about it the reporter goes back and you can actually hear the crickets! Amazing.

Have You Ever Seen This Airplane Before?
This issue have been happening for quite a while. Here We are enjoying the weekend and the Sun is shining, the Sky is blue and the Weather is just great on the North Bay. But not for too long as you start to hear this heavy humming noisy in the sky. I am sure some of you have seen this aircraft pulling a banner around the bay blasting everyone with noise back and forth. The noise he makes is on purpose to attract people's attention to the banner he's pulling. But does people pay any attention to it? I would not mind an aircraft pulling a banner if it was not shooting everyone with noise that it is enough to make your brain vibrate. Sure I have my exceptions because he is also a source of air pollution in the skies. So the question is:
-What can City Hall do to stop this person from taking over our airspace with these harmful humming noise?
Important Note: I posted this video because I want the population to take control of our City airspace and not let it on the hands of an organization that does not care about our health or well-being. FAA should be limited to control and see if these aircraft are following safe routes that does not interfere with City Life or Living. Real events of daily acoustic abuse and free will from many pilots and traffic controllers have been proved that they do not have enough responsibility to understand acoustic issues that negatively affects the neighborhoods population quality of life. The irresponsibility goes both ways! From them that violate our acoustic rights and from us that do not make the effort to take control of the airspace that belongs to us. On our SFA Radio Show #1 - Jack is going to tell us why he knows about it!
This short clip was produced in record time. I had the idea a week before and when I meet my friend that also happen to be the main actor, I wrote the script and after a few beers we decided to run it. It took more time to edit than to film it. Anyway this is the reason I wrote "Last Minute Production" on it. The reason I started to work on the noise pollution issue few years ago was because very few people were willing to acknowledge it. It was such a higher degree of misconception and lack of education that I embraced as being my life challenge. We can firmly say that "Noise Pollution" is one of the most "Cover up" and "Challenged" issue in America and around the World. The cover up comes from all sections of Government, Industry, Commerce and Society.

Who are the Polluters in San Francisco?
Being under an "Acoustic Attack Regime," is not a pleasant situation, at least for me. The reason is, I have an Acoustic Education. I know, noise is a type of invasive energy. So, I decided to do this movie taken from up of one of my neighborhood hills here in San Francisco.
I hope we all can find some temporarily enjoyment watching it! Outside of this temporarily joy, please do not forget to raise your highest Spiritual and Mental Conciseness to Act Today to Stop This Acoustic Madness!

Whereas this potential growth in airport travel is being met with glee by the aviation industry, it is bringing distress to the millions of people who live close to airports and have to live daily with the noise from overhead jets. Similarly in community after community, residents are registering complaints that noises from recreational vehicles, highways, leafblowers, garbage collections, high speed-auto racing, and nearby discos are robbing them of the peace and quiet to which they believe they are entitled. One in eight Biology teachers still teaches Creationism
According to a study published in 'Public Library of Science Biology', one in eight U.S. high school Biology teachers presents creationism as a valid alternative to evolution.
Only 32% of the 900 teachers who responded the poll thought that creationism should be taught as "scientifically unsound", while 12% called creationism a "valid scientific alternative to Darwinian explanations for the origin of species," and the same number said that "many reputable scientists view these as valid alternatives to Darwinian theory."
