Javier Gutierrez completed his feature film debut 3 DIAS - BEFORE THE FALL early this year. The sci-fi thriller has been produced by Antonio Banderas’ Green Moon Productions and Antonio Perez’s Maestranza in Seville as a part of a scheme helping to produce movies of young directors in Andalucia.
3 DIAS was premiered at the last Berlin International Film Festival and. The movie has won the best feature film award “Biznaga de Oro” and three other prizes at the Spanish Film Festival de Malaga 2008.
Javier Gutierrez has a Degree in Law through Complutense University in Madrid. He studied in private Film Schools in Spain and in 2001 he founded his own film production company "DR. T Producciones Cinematograficas", which took its name from the fantasy cult movie "The 5,000 fingers of Dr. T ”.
Gutierrez made a few short films including NORMAN'S ROOM (2002), BRASIL (2001) and EL CUERPO (1999), which have been awarded on many Film Festivals including AFI Fest, Alcalá de Henares Short Film Festival, Cartagena Film Festival, Cinema Jove - Valencia International Film Festival, Cinénygma - Luxembourg International Film Festival, Fantasporto, Metz European Meeting of Short Film, Málaga International Week of Fantastic Cinema, Screamfest, Sitges - Catalonian International Film Festival. PAUL ANKA - MY WAY, concert in Malaga, Spain

STREET ART - Rodin in Malaga, the movie
The work of the world-famous French sculptor, Auguste Rodin, was gracing the most famous street in Málaga, Calle Marqués de Larios. The original sculptures of the six ‘Burghers of Calais’ and Rodin’s ‘The Thinker,’ were unveiled on their pedestals in the old part of the city centre. The Thinker, Rodin’s most famous sculpture and one of the world’s most recognised works of art, was commissioned by the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, to act as a portal to the entrance of the museum based on Dante’s ‘Divine Comedy’ and part of a wider concept of the Gates of Hell.
It’s the first Rodin exhibition of its type in Spain, and also, according to the Málaga newspaper, La Opinión de Málaga, the first time his work has left the Rodin Museum in Paris for an exhibition in the street.
