  • Influences/Heroes: My mother passed along her crazy Midwestern work ethic, which means that I feel guilty when I take sick days, but also tend to be amazingly loyal.
  • Political Bent: I enjoy life on the left side of the fence.
  • Favorite Bands: Right now I'm listening to a lot of randomness with my iPod on Shuffle. If I had a gun to my head and had to choose, I'd pick the Counting Crows' <i>August and Everything After</i>. When it came out I was young and impressionable, and it stuck.
  • Favorite Movies: If <i>10 Things I Hate About You</i> is on cable anywhere in the universe, I will watch it. There are better quality films in the world, to be sure, but this one makes me feel good.
  • Favorite TV Shows: I used to watch so much TV! And now I'm super lame. How I Met Your Mother, Weeds, Battlestar Galactica. These are maybe the only things on TV I care about.
  • Celebrity Crush: For the first time in my life, I can't name one.
