My name's Rajesh Thind and I'm based in London. I work through OpenCircuit, a network of creative collaborators spread across the globe who come together on a project-by-project basis to make work across a range of disciplines and forms, including tv, film and video, contemporary and conceptual art, design, writing, journalism, photography, activism and academia. We're all full of ideas but we're also very grounded in what's going on around us.

My own work focuses on writing and filmmaking. I make documentaries with UK and international broadcasters, artists, NGOs, and independently for the cinema. I like to make warm, amusing, human films but I also aim to explore how the universal concerns seep through into our everyday lives, wherever and whoever we are. I'm drawn to voices that are honest, direct, engaged and, often, post-national in a way, voices that can be understood wherever they are heard.
