Davide Scalenghe, nato il 24 maggio del 1979, è Direttore Prime Time Programming per Current Italia e host del Vanguard. Di origine italiana, Davide si trasferisce a Londra dopo il liceo. Conseguita la laurea in Media & Cultural studies, Davide comincia la sua carriera presso la CNN International e, dopo una brave parentesi lavorativa a TimeOut, si trasferisce definitivamente a New York dove lavora per MTV International con il ruolo di produttore dei format per l’Europa e il Giappone.
In poco tempo diventa il referente di Londra per tutte le produzioni degli Stati Uniti, lavorando a produzioni come “The Osbournes”, “MTV Europe Music Awards”, “TRL” e “All Things Rock”. Nel 2003 Davide lascia MTV per seguire “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” (UK, USA), serie che nel 2004 gli fa vincere il premio per la categoria Best International Reality Series al New York Television Festival.
Nel 2005, come fondatore ed Amministratore Delegato di Chunky Punch Productions, ottiene una produzione per Sony Picture Television International: il reality – show “Snaparazzi” per AXN. Nel primi mesi del 2007 Davide Scalenghe entra a far parte della squadra di Current nel Regno Unito. Nel maggio 2008 torna in Italia, a Milano, per diventare il responsabile VC2 – video prodotti dalla community - della nuova sede italiana del network di news e informazioni fondato da Al Gore.
