I do agree with the fact that schools should have nothing to do with the Religion of these kids. Yet, Baptism is not forced, else it loses its whole purpose.

These are 16 year olds. They can drive, they can kill. As you can read from the report, they were not forced and only those 8 or 9, chose to do it. Mommy has no business here.
