Meet Ivan – Entrepreneur and small business owner, he’s working on building his savings so he can build his business and bring clean energy to his community.
What goal are you getting after?
“Ever since I was a little kid, I was always interested in being my own boss, being an entrepreneur, working for myself, creating businesses.”
How are you getting there?
“I have to save in order for this company to grow, I need to stack my chips as much as possible. Right now I'm saving up for a truck, and that's actually going to help everybody on my team because we all carpool.”
“Anybody can become an entrepreneur. Anybody can start their own business.”
What made you want to start your own business?
“Five years ago I was doing plumbing and stuff like that. And I never saw myself working for myself. When I started my solar panel company, I saw just a bigger vision behind it all. And that was helping people from neighborhoods that thought that they would never have access to solar panels.”
How is Current helping you chase those goals?
“Current helps me and my organization stay on point with saving our money. It makes it a lot easier for us to save and send each other money.”
Any advice?
“You got to get ready for good days, bad days, and that's part of the game.”
