Current Referral Program Terms and Conditions
Effective: June 18, 2026
Eligibility
For existing Current Account users (“Referrer”) to qualify for a referral reward (“Referral Reward”) and for new Current account users (“Referred”) to qualify for a Referral Reward, the following conditions must be met:
Referred users must sign up for a Current account through the unique referral link or apply the unique referral code provided by the Referrer, and must be new, first-time Current users.
Referred users must receive at least $200 in Eligible Payroll Deposits into their Current Account within the first 45 days of opening their Current account. An “Eligible Payroll Deposit” means a recurring deposit of a Current account user’s wages or compensation from sources such as their employer, payroll provider, or government payer, including where they are acting as an independent contractor. Certain deposits do not qualify as Eligible Payroll Deposits, including non-direct deposit ACH transfers, inter- or intra-bank peer-to-peer transfers, transfers made to debit cards from digital wallets or P2P services (PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Google Pay, Facebook Pay, or other similar services), mobile check deposits, cash deposits, and one-time direct deposits (such as tax refunds). Current retains full discretion to determine qualification for Eligible Payroll Deposits and for the Referral Reward.
Both Referrer and Referred’s Current accounts must not be closed or restricted, and must be in good standing at the time of payment of the Referral Reward.
Referral Award Amounts
Referral Award amounts vary based on the following criteria, which are subject to Current’s sole discretion:
Referrers with an account creation date of less than 61 days prior to the referral who have not received at least one Eligible Payroll Deposit of $200 or more into their Current accounts, along with their Referred(s), will each qualify for a $50 Referral Reward.
Referrers with an account creation date of less than 61 days prior to the referral who have received an Eligible Payroll Deposit of $200 or more into their Current accounts, along with their Referred(s), will each qualify for a $100 Referral Reward.
Referrers with an account creation date of 61 or more days prior to the referral, along with their Referred(s), will each qualify for a $100 Referral Reward.
Miscellaneous
Before sending any text message or email relating to a Referral Reward, Referrers represent and confirm that they have any necessary consent(s) from Referreds to send them that text message or email.
The applicable Referral Reward should be paid to the Referred and Referrer’s Current accounts within ten (10) business days after a qualifying Eligible Payroll Deposit is first deposited into the Referred’s account, although delays may occur. A Referral Reward cannot be combined with any other enrollment bonuses. Referrers may earn no more than $1,000.00 in Referral Rewards per calendar year.
At any time, with or without notice, Current reserves the right—in its sole discretion—to: (i) cancel or modify the terms of any Referral Reward offer as well as these Current Referral Program terms, (ii) terminate a member’s eligibility for a Referral Reward, or (iii) invalidate and/or reverse the payment of a Referral Reward if Current determines or believes that such Referral Reward was received through error, fraud, illegality, abuse, or in violation of these terms and conditions or any other applicable agreement between the Referred/Referrer and Current.
Aggregate Referral Rewards and all other Current rewards totaling $600 or more in a calendar year will be reported on tax form 1099-MISC for Referrers.
Banking services, as applicable, are provided by Choice Financial Group, Member FDIC, and/or Cross River Bank, Member FDIC. The Current Visa® Debit Card is issued by Choice Financial Group and/or Cross River Bank, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc.
