how-to-spot-a-fraudulent-account

Our members' privacy and security is extremely important to us and we want to be sure all our members keep their accounts safe from scammers, who may impersonate Current on social media or any other platform.

Here are a few ways to spot a fraudulent account:

1. We are verified on Instagram and Twitter as @Current so always be sure to look for the blue checkmark next to our name to verify any messages are really from us. Beware that many scam/impersonation accounts popping up are illegally using our logo and name but no one else has a verified @Current account. Please know we are reporting all of these to the various social media platforms to have them removed.

2. We will NEVER ask for your phone number, account number or your security codes in any private or public messages on social media. If someone asks you for any of those, please do not provide them.

3. Current is NOT doing any giveaways. If someone reaches out and says you are a winner in a Current giveaway, it is a scam.

If you have any questions regarding your account, please reach out to our member support team, who are available 24/7 via live chat in our app.
